Train wreck

Yesterday the kids wanted to learn about trains. Mama doesn't know a whole lot about them, so we colored pictures, learned how to spell train and built one out of laundry baskets. Daddy will have to fill in the holes this weekend.

We were having such a nice day until Owen tumbled out of the train while playing. He hit the middle of his forehead on the corner of our entertainment center. I thought for sure it was going to be our first urgent care visit with him because it felt like it was bleeding forever. The bleeding slowed down, I put some raw honey on it and he was fine for the most part, thank God.

There have been many studies recently showing remarkable results using raw honey for cuts and burns. Cuts and burns treated with honey healed remarkably faster and the patients experienced less pain. This is only one of the many benefits of raw honey. You know the honey is raw if it granulates like sugar after a few weeks. Find raw honey locally at www.localharvest.org. We get ours at the OSU-OKC farmer's market. Here's my sweet boy this morning. Almost all better...
